CALL FOR NEW MEMBERS
The Greater Southport Business Association (GSBA) has been in existence since 1978 and has been considered a premier business Association by Chesterfield County. From east to west, the Association reaches from Arboretum to Woolridge Road. From north to south it reaches from Bellgrade to Powhite and Courthouse, as well as all of the businesses along the Midlothian corridor. The purpose of the association is to sustain and improve the business quality of life. This requires county participation, community involvement and networking events within the organization. We are a mini-chamber dedicated to your best interests
You might of heard, the GSBA spearheaded MIRR (Midlothian Initiative to Revitalize Rights of Way) www.mirr-midlo.org. The plantings for this project have been completed. The plants are watered daily and will be replaced in the fall if they have not been able to withstand the hot weather Richmond has received this summer. Our Association has and will continue to make lasting improvements in the area’s business climate.
Our Board of Directors is represented by some of the larger firms in the area and they plan to work hard to maintain the good appearance of the business community. They are committed to ensure that the county sees us, hears us and assists us in protecting your property values.
The Greater Southport Association is looking to expand its membership and is hoping you will join. As an association we will be looking out for your business’s interest… political, governmental and community. We will include you in local issues, we will make sure that the roads and medians are maintains as needed for a thriving business center. Most importantly, we will support you when issues arise that need a stronger voice to be heard.
