Attention Chesterfield County Businesses!
Possible ZIP Code changes are on the way!
A meeting is being presented by officials in Chesterfield County government to provide background information and to discuss possible changing of the area ZIP codes in several areas of Chesterfield County.
The purpose of the change is to help improve the collection of sales taxes for Chesterfield County. (No new taxes, just trying to get Chesterfield County's rightful share.)
This change will remove “Richmond” from our 23225, 23235 and 23236 mailing address and change it to something else--it might even result in a replacement ZIP Code for:
"Midlothian" ??
“Bon Air” ??
“Bon Air” ??
“Towne Center” ??
“Huguenot” ??
"Eastlothian" ??
Please attend the meeting to hear the pros and cons about this important issue. The Post Office and county will be involved in this process so it is important that input is received by the business community.
